Paul J. Swol
1951 - 18 May 2002

Paul was a Bandit door gunner on A/C #923.  He was in the 281st AHC from April 1969 until May 1970.  Paul died in Ft. Bragg, CA, of complications related to Agent Orange, the day after he was presented with his Air Medal from Vietnam.  A delegation of 281st AHC Intruders was present at the hospital where U.S. Representative Mike Thompson pinned the medal on Paul.
