281st ASSAULT HELICOPTER COMPANY
1966
The 281st Assault Helicopter Company was operational by late summer 1966, after arriving in Nha Trang Bay on the USS Gordon on 9 June, 1966.
To date, the only available documented history for 1965 or 1966 is contained in the 10th Combat Aviation Battalion Unit History of 1965-1966. The relevant information from that document has been included in the images below, and the following pages.
